- As Katalina Tech. pointed out, the modem sends special codes to the
- S/W when it detects each type of connection.
- We are using a system that has 100% success in detecting
- FAX/DATA/VOICE and switching to the appropriate application. The
- system is based on a relatively old modem called TYIN. It's main
- drawback is that max DATA speed is 14.4kbps. FAX and VOICE are very
- good.
- We have been using it for more than two years now.
