  45. As Katalina Tech. pointed out, the modem sends special codes to the
  46. S/W when it detects each type of connection.
  47. We are using a system that has 100% success in detecting
  48. FAX/DATA/VOICE and switching to the appropriate  application. The
  49. system is based on a relatively old modem called TYIN. It's main
  50. drawback is that max DATA speed is 14.4kbps. FAX and VOICE are very
  51. good.
  52. We have been using it for more than two years now.
